Description:The Cath Lab Technician Assistant is responsible for assisting in preparing patients for cath lab procedures.The role includes scrubbing procedures and monitoring and recording hemodynamic pressures.The Cath Lab Technician demonstrates professional development and clinical competency.The assistant utilizes the invasive cardiology process to prepare the procedure room and the patient for the procedure.The position addresses health educational needs for patients, families, and other healthcare providers.The assistant manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations.Knowledge of growth and development is applied in patient interactions.Other related duties may be performed as assigned.Key responsibilities include accepting accountability for results, continually improving care and service, demonstrating stewardship of resources, and respecting every person.The role sets the standard for quality and caring while succeeding with integrity.
