Description

The position requires a travel Cath Lab Tech.The unit has 6 holding bays and 2 cath lab procedure rooms.Staff includes 13 total members.The unit operates with a 4 man team, with RNs rotating through cath lab holding (pre-op/recovery).Day shift is busiest on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.Full-time staff work on those days, and PRN staff if available.Thursday and Friday shifts are lighter.Work hours are 12-hour days or until tasks are finished.Some days may be long.Typical procedures performed include R/L heart caths, peripheral angiograms/stenting, PE/DVT cases, and ECMO cannulations.The team is oriented towards collaboration, with a strong work ethic.The community provides amenities comparable to larger cities.Candidates with scrub experience and pre/post-procedure care experience are preferred.
