Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a Cat Scan Technician to perform CT and X-ray imaging with a patient-centered focus in a fast-paced acute care facility.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT credentials (CT) and current BLS certification, with the ability to work accurately and independently while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT and ARRT (CT) credentials required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations per physician orders.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment while documenting procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses and care teams to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain infection prevention, patient privacy and radiation safety standards.

How You Will Contribute

The Multimodality Imaging Tech (Radiology/CT) is a skilled imaging professional responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) examinations that support timely and accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This role performs imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and radiation safety standards while ensuring exceptional patient care, comfort, and safety throughout the imaging process. The technician operates and maintains imaging equipment, accurately documents procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record, and collaborates closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining compliance with infection prevention, patient privacy, and regulatory requirements.
