Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a Radiology Tech I to perform imaging procedures across radiography, CT, mammography, US, nuclear medicine, or MRI and provide high‑quality patient care. You will work under radiologist interpretation, following departmental protocols and standards of practice.

You must become CT competent within 6 months and obtain ARRT and BCLS certifications within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of Program in Discipline - required or validated by current licensure
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• License: State Radiation Operators License or Temporary State Radiation Operators license
• Certification: ARRT within 6 months of hire; BCLS within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures (Radiography, CT, Mammography, US, Nuclear Medicine, or MRI) and produces quality images for interpretation by a radiologist.
• Performs procedures according to departmental protocols, policies and procedures and according to established standards of practice.
• Assesses and monitors patients and provides appropriate patient care. An Imaging Tech I is required to actively function and meet the required qualifications and competencies to function in one modality in addition to radiography.
• Must become competent in CT as their additional modality and meet certification requirements within 6 months of employment unless already approved for other modality certifications.

Education

How you'll Contribute

• A Radiology Tech who excels in this role:
