Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with patient transport, positioning, infection control, scheduling in EPIC, and maintaining supplies while adhering to radiation safety and pediatric/geriatric care needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service and clinical support experience.
• Familiarity with EPIC scheduling/order processing.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and transport patients safely.
• MRI safety awareness and general radiology workflow knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Validate patient identity using two identifiers per protocol.
• Transport patients to imaging modalities via stretcher or wheelchair.
• Assist with positioning and transferring patients safely on exam tables.
• Maintain infection prevention measures with approved wipes.
• Perform scheduling and processing of ED/inpatient/outpatient orders in EPIC.
• Restock supplies and manage par levels; communicate when low.
• Promote positive relations with team and radiologist.
• Follow department policies and radiation safety guidelines.
• Provide care appropriate to pediatric, geriatric, and general populations.
• Flexible for department work schedule; complete annual MRI safety training.
• Perform ancillary tasks to support operations (e.g., specimen delivery).
