Job summary

MedCadre seeks an MRI Technologist for day shift coverage at Harborview Hospital in Seattle. Responsibilities include performing MRI scans on multiple Siemens units in inpatient and outpatient settings, with emphasis on trauma and ER cases.

Required are ARRT MRI certification and WA RT license, plus 2+ years MRI experience; 5 years in hospital inpatient settings preferred for some applicants. Call shifts and a 4x10 schedule are involved.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification is required.
• WA radiologic technologist license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience; 5 years in hospital inpatient setting for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on multiple Siemens scanners in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Work within a Level I trauma, stroke center environment with FAST-paced cases.
• Participate in call shifts (8–10 per month) as assigned.

Shift: Day (4x10 Hours) 7:00 17:30 Description: MRI Tech/RAD Start date: ASAP

Shift: Days 4 - 10 Hours varied start times and varibale days of week, w/ call requirement

Call: Traveler will pick up 8-10 call shifts per month.

Years of experience REQ: 2 First-timers accepted: (Y/N):YES but must have 5 years of experience working in a hospital inpatient setting

Weekend REQ: Yes, every other

Certs REQ: ARRT with MRI Advanced Certification State License Required: Yes, WA RT license

RTO Restrictions: Required: Procedures: Neuro, Ortho, MRA's, body exams. IV Starts. Inpatient hospital experience. Trauma and ER. Siemens equipment

Skills required: Breast scans. Things to Know: We have 3 Scanners; 2 in the Hospital, a 3T Siemens PRISMA Fit and a old 1.5T Client. In the out patient clinic 1.5 T Siemens Avanto - PACS is required Will be working in inpatient and outpatient, level I trauma, stroke center. 7 case a day.
