Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a Day shift (5x8) in Illinois. You will perform outpatient screening and diagnostic mammography, as well as bone density tests, stereotactic and ultrasound biopsies, and wire localization. IL license and BLS are required; ARRT Mammography is preferred.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience. DEXA experience is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a stable schedule and collaboration with a dedicated imaging team.

Qualifications

• Licensed in IL (IEMA) with ARRT Mammography certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of Mammography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Conduct bone density assessments.
• Perform stereotactic breast biopsies and US biopsies; execute wire/localization procedures.

Position / Specialty: Mammo Tech - 5/8's Days

In mammography we perform outpatient screening and diagnostic exams as well as bone density. We perform stereotactic and US bx, and magseed and wire loc placement. Post clip placements are included in these procedures.

Certifications & Requirements

• IL license required (IEMA)
• BLS required
• ARRT (Mammography) required
• Pending License accepted: No
• Registered Breast Ultrasound or Registered Breast Sonographer - Preferred
• Locals accepted: Yes same rate

Special Requirements

• DEXA experience is a plus
• Tech will not be required to learn BXs or localization exams
• Tech should be comfortable with post clip exams

RTO Restrictions

Finalized RTO must be included with submission. No RTO within first week of start date. No more than 10 days of RTO per assignment. Guaranteed Hours: Contracted Hours
