Job summary

American Traveler seeks an MRI Technologist for a day-shift outpatient radiology role in Washington. Requires 2+ years MRI experience and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification. Responsibilities include performing body, MSK, neuro, spine, and ortho MRI studies on a Fuji Oasis 1.2T Open MRI with PACS and IntelliSpace/Medinformatics.

Shifts are 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; no on-call. Flexible to float within the health system; vaccination status and Epic experience must be disclosed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Washington state license required if applicable.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with MRI of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal regions.
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, and radiation safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions in an outpatient setting.
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration.
• SSN and DOB required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient radiology department performing routine diagnostic imaging.
• Adult and pediatric outpatient population.
• Performs MRI Body, MSK, Neuro, Spine, and Ortho studies (no cardiac imaging).
• Uses Fuji Oasis 1.2T Open MRI Unit and PACS system.
• Charting system is IntelliSpace/Medinformatics.
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• No on-call requirements.
• Must be willing to float within the health system as needed.
• Provides routine outpatient diagnostic MRI services across multiple body systems.
• Vaccination status and Epic experience must be disclosed at time of consideration.
• Previous PeaceHealth employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted.
• Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
• RTO must be disclosed and approved prior to contract signing, with limited days available depending on offer type.
• Start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks if a Washington state license is still in process.
