Job summary

MedCadre seeks an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for day shift assignments in Columbus, GA. Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; first-timers not accepted. BLS, ACLS, and RCIS certification preferred; state license if applicable.

Role involves working with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR documentation in a level II trauma setting. Expect rotating coverage, 7-day max RTO, and occasional on-call. Local candidates welcome with same-rate compensation.

Job description

Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) 7:00 15:30
Description: Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS, State Licensed if applicable
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab; Trauma Level II experience required
Schedule: 0700-1530 OR 0800-1630
Ratio / Census: 2
Rooms Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
Scrub Color: Provided by the facility
RTO: MAX 7 days
Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
Floating: Within the facility/scope of practice as needed
Call Requirements: 4 man call team; 3 teams
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve/Christmas Day New Years Eve/New Years Day
Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
CLINICAL SCREEN - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.
