Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 16-week contract in Baltimore. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, monitoring patients during procedures, and assisting in complex procedures such as stent placements and valve replacements.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a cath lab, ACLS/BLS, and RCIS/ARRT/RTR credentials, plus an active MD or Compact RN license at submission.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum Cath Lab experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS, ARRT, or RTR certification required.
• Experience with PCI, IABP, and ECMO preferred.
• Active MD or Compact RN license required at submission.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures using hemodynamic and ECG assessments.
• Assist in procedures including stent placements and valve replacements.
• Maintain sterile field and assist physicians during procedures.

Day Shift: 4x10 Hours (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM) with every third weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab environment. The ideal candidate will perform a range of cardiac procedures and assist in providing high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures using hemodynamic and ECG assessments.
• Assist in various special procedures including stent placements and valve replacements.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist physicians during procedures.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols, including the use of PPE.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years minimum experience in a Cath Lab setting required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS, ARRT, or RTR certification required.
• Experience with cardiac procedures including PCI, IABP, and ECMO preferred.
• Active MD or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
