Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Santa Monica, CA. This role supports a STEMI and stroke receiving center with a four-lab Cath Lab, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Active BLS, ACLS, ARRT (or RCIS), Fluoro Permit and state licensure are required; stroke/interventional radiology experience is preferred. Day shift, 4x10 hours, with extended call coverage including weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of acute care experience in a Cath Lab is preferred.
• Stroke and interventional radiology experience is a plus.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (or RCIS), Fluoro Permit, and a valid state license.

Responsibilities

• Support STEMI and stroke interventions, including TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiology, neurology, and radiology teams.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00). Call requirements include weekdays from 17:30 to 07:00 and weekends/holidays from 07:00 to 07:00, with 10-14 call shifts within a 42-day schedule.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a STEMI and Stroke receiving center equipped with four labs. This role involves supporting various procedures including cardiac, electrophysiology, and interventional neuro, among others. Ideal candidates should have stroke or interventional radiology experience, but explicit EP or structural heart experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Support STEMI and stroke interventions, including TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including cardiology, neurology, and radiology.
• Monitor patient conditions and assist with patient care during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a Cath Lab.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (will accept RCIS), Fluoro Permit, and a valid state license.
• Experience in stroke and interventional radiology preferred.
