Job summary

Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic is seeking a dedicated Radiology Assistant–Transporter to support the Radiology team and ensure smooth patient flow at our Raleigh location. The role combines patient transport, clerical tasks, and equipment readiness to maintain efficient imaging operations.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of clerical or medical records experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Travel to other clinic sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical records or clerical roles preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and digital radiology records is a plus.
• Computer literacy and strong organizational skills required.
• Comfortable with alphabetical and numerical filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms with professionalism and care.
• Maintain and manage electronic radiology files in SECTRA PACS.
• Perform clerical duties related to imaging procedures and patient flow.
• Monitor and maintain X-ray prep supplies and inventory.
• Support the radiology team by preparing rooms and assisting with workflow.
