Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Assistant to support patient assessments, management, and select exam procedures in an outpatient imaging setting under Radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include obtaining prescriptions, performing courteous fluoroscopy exams, documenting procedures, and assisting with patient transport and care across diagnostic areas. A High School diploma and relevant certification are required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Experience with radiology terminology and basic computer skills.
• Certified Medical Assistant or enrollment in Radiology Technologist program.

Mansioni

• Generates preliminary image report evaluations and bone density exams under supervision.
• Obtains and reviews accuracy of patient prescriptions prior to exams.
• Provides courteous fluoroscopy procedures/exams to all patients.
• Completes paperwork associated with technical procedures.
• Transports patients safely for diagnostic testing and room transfers.
• Responds to Physician questions and needs regarding procedures.
