Mercyhealth in Wisconsin seeks a radiology aide to assist in imaging exams under supervision of a registered radiologic technologist. Responsibilities include patient transport, reception, PACS handling, and quality control, with emphasis on safety and efficient workflow.
The role requires enrollment in an accredited radiologic program, six months of radiography student experience, and CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Under the supervision of a registered radiologic technologist, assists in the performance of imaging exams, transports patients, and performs clerical duties as assigned. Escorts or transports patients within hospital or other medical facility.
As needed per department guidelines; Shift: Variable Day Shift Hours.
Some independent judgment is required.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
