Mercyhealth is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform specialized imaging procedures, prepare and educate patients, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and operate advanced imaging equipment with strict radiation safety. Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Overview Perform specialized nuclear medicine imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role prepares and educates patients, administers radioactive medications, operates advanced imaging equipment, ensures radiation safety standards are followed, and collaborates with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care. Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program Minimum One (1) to Three (3) years experience preferred but will consider new graduates
Certification/Licence CNMT or ARRT(N) required IEMA-DNS Nuclear Medicine accreditation required if working in Illinois Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Additional Requirements Passing the Driver’s License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring). Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check. Must be able to follow written/oral instructions.

Works independently with limited direct supervision.
Provides clinical supervision of allied health students and radiology aides.
