Mercyhealth in Janesville, WI seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures and radiographic exams, while educating patients and ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.
The role requires ARRT radiography and CT registrations, Wisconsin or Illinois licensure if applicable, and CPR/BLS certification within 90 days. 12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am, with a focus on safety and patient care.
Perform diagnostic, surgical, and portable imaging procedures while providing safe, compassionate care and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This role prepares and educates patients, operates imaging equipment, administers contrast when needed, supports patient safety throughout procedures, and serves as a resource for students and team members. Schedule: 12 hour shifts, third shift Shift: 6pm-6am Location: Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center—Janesville, Janesville, WI Pay Range: $33.78 - $50.67
Graduate of an accredited radiography program Radiographer experience preferred CT experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; Manufacturing software and Order processing systems.
Must be able to take call as needed.
