Job summary

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, 1 year clerical/office experience in healthcare, strong English communication, and preferably bilingual Spanish/English. Cross-training, customer service focus, and computer proficiency are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of clerical/office related work experience in a medical or health care environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to be crossed trained to other areas.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in daily scheduling activities.
• Schedules procedures according to policy, patient needs, and staff availability.
• Accurately prepares and distributes the schedule for radiology admissions.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and provides courteous telephone/intercom communication.
• Performs related clerical duties as necessary.
