Job summary

The Radiology Admin & Clerical team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking flexible and motivated individuals to join a dynamic team delivering a safe and effective Radiology service. We require candidates who are methodical, detail-oriented and able to work on initiative with excellent communication and customer care skills.

This varied role includes booking appointments by phone, sending letters, coordinating inpatient/ED appointments and greeting patients

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to work in a systematic, methodical way and to prioritise workload under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Schedule imaging appointments for Ultrasound, X-Ray, CT and MRI, calling patients to confirm dates and provide prep information.
• Answer incoming calls promptly, assist patients, staff and healthcare professionals with queries, and manage voicemails and emails.
• Cover reception desks across the department to check in patients, liaise with wards and porters for inpatient scheduling.
