Job summary

Summa Health in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Full-Time Radiographer to operate radiologic equipment for diagnostic purposes. The position requires a graduate of an accredited program and appropriate state licensing.

Compensation ranges from $30.31 to $36.37 per hour, with various healthcare benefits including life insurance and retirement plans. Evening and weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered or eligible for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Must be licensed as a Radiographer in Ohio.

• Process patient records to initiate timely procedure results.
• Perform assigned duties as training allows.

Job description

Full-Time, Benefits Eligible

Schedule: 36 hrs/wk; Weekend Nights Sat/Sun/Mon 6:30pm-7am; Every other holiday

Hire-On Incentive: Up to $10,000

Summary

Operates radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs. Ensures that all aspects of patient records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.

Formal Education Required

• Graduate of an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.

Experience & Training Required

• Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures (e.g., select CT procedures, etc.).

Other Skills, Competencies And Qualifications

• Ability to appropriately communicate with patients, physicians and hospital employees.
• Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients and to apply and adjust restraining devices. Ability to lift and position patients.
• Ability to initiate CPR (CPR Certification).
• Ability to utilize hospital and radiology computer system and file system.
• Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

Compensation

$30.31/hr - $36.37/hr

Salary range is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Factors considered include years of relevant experience and geographical location. Pay equity is considered in determining offers.
