Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Ortho) in Wadsworth, Ohio. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week with a Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm schedule. Location: 623 School Drive, Wadsworth. Eligible for up to a $20,000 hire incentive.

Operates radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs, maintains patient records for timely results, and performs other duties as training allows. Salary ranges from $30.31 to $36.37 per hour, with benefits included.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.

Radiologic Technologist - Ortho

Part-time, 20 hours

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Variable

Summary

Operates radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs. Ensures that all aspects of patient records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.

Formal Education Required
  • Graduate of an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.
Experience & Training Required
  • Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures (e.g., select C.T. procedures, etc.).
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
  • Ability to appropriately communicate with patients, physicians and hospital employees.
  • Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients and to apply and adjust restraining devices. Ability to lift and position patients.
  • Ability to initiate CPR (CPR Certification).
  • Ability to utilize hospital and radiology computer system and file system.
  • Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
