Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System invites applications for radiologists to join our Imaging Service. We welcome radiologists with interest in breast imaging, body imaging, and interventional radiology.

Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with options for remote teleradiology during off-peak hours. Responsibilities include interpreting studies across modalities, supervising protocols, and leading quality assurance efforts.

Qualifications

• To qualify for this position you must meet the basic requirements and any additional listed in the job announcement.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Interpret imaging studies and perform image-guided procedures as approved by the credentialing board.
• Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, and nuclear medicine exams as assigned.
• Provide clinical oversight of exam protocols, contrast administration, and image quality; participate in quality assurance and peer review.
• Teach and supervise trainees; participate in departmental or multi-disciplinary meetings and conferences.
