Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, South Central VA Health Care Network (VISN 16), is seeking a Radiologist Physician to join the Imaging Service at one of the facilities. The physician will interpret head-to-toe imaging studies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiographs and provide timely reports.

The role requires medical licensure in the United States, board eligibility/certification in Radiology, and the ability to work independently with a high standard of professional practice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from VA-approved school.
• Current full US license to practice medicine.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Radiology.
• Ability to work independently in Imaging Service.

Responsibilities

• Interpret imaging studies: radiography, CT, MRI, US.
• Access studies via VISN 16 PACS and dictation system.
• Provide timely, accurate radiology reports to clinicians.
• Participate in quality assurance and tumor boards.
• On-site work with rotating on-call responsibilities.
