Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a nuclear engineer to contribute to design and engineering upgrades of nuclear power plants. You will perform radiological dose calculations, shielding design calculations, and source term analyses within multi-discipline project teams.

The role includes work on domestic and international projects with potential travel. A strong background in nuclear engineering and hands-on experience with MCNP, RADTRAD, MicroShield, ORIGEN, or ARCON96 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Nuclear Engineering.
• 3 years of applicable experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience with MCNP, RADTRAD, MicroShield, ORIGEN and ARCON96 is preferred.
