Job summary

Lone Star College seeks a dedicated Radiologic Technology instructor to deliver coursework across campus locations and online modalities. The role includes developing course syllabi, employing diverse teaching methods, and actively evaluating student progress to support learning outcomes.

The successful candidate will engage with students, maintain professional relationships, and participate in ongoing professional development and institutional service as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years non-teaching work experience in the professional discipline.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and registration in the pertinent discipline.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Medical Radiologic Technology courses at varying times and locations.
• Develops and uses a syllabus for each course within guidelines.
• Implements diverse teaching methods to accommodate different backgrounds.
• Evaluates student progress and communicates outcomes promptly.
• Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues and community.
• Provides office hours and accessible communication for students.
• Engages in professional development and institutional service as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
