Job summary

Lone Star College seeks a qualified Radiologic Technology instructor to deliver courses, develop syllabi, and support student success across classroom and lab settings.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, and at least two years of non-teaching professional experience. Responsibilities include course facilitation, assessment, and collaboration with the faculty team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT certification and registration are required.
  • Minimum 2 years of non-teaching professional experience in the radiologic field.
  • Ability to teach Medical Radiologic Technology courses and adapt to varied class formats.

Responsibilities

  • Teaches Medical Radiologic Technology courses at various times and locations.
  • Continuously improves instruction using innovative methods and delivery.
  • Develops syllabi for courses and labs within guidelines.
  • Uses diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Assesses student progress and communicates results promptly.
  • Completes required college reports and forms.
  • Evaluates and updates learning materials.
  • Maintains professional relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Provides office hours and responsive electronic communication.
  • Engages in professional development and institutional service.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned.
