Job description

Work Schedule :

90% FTE, day/evening hours. Monday - Friday with start times ranging from 7:15AM - 8:45AM and end times ranging from 3:45PM - 5:15PM. One floating off per pay period. Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation at Urgent Cares included. You will rotate to several different UW Health Clinic locations and may be eligible for up to a $4,500 sign-on bonus. Both experienced and new graduate rad techs are encouraged to apply. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay :

• External hires may be eligible for up to a $13,500 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).
• Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.
• The pay range listed reflects the Radiologic Technologist - Interventional role.
• If working in a new grad rad tech role, prior to receiving license, pay will be lower than indicated.

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems.
• Make quick and highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
• Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting healthcare professionals, possibly including clinical research.
