Qualifications

• ARRT certification through an approved ARRT program.

• Knowledge of RIS and PACS systems.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Positions radiographic equipment to produce images with necessary detail or contrast.
• Explains radiographic procedures to patients and obtains relevant medical history.
• Maintains and protects patient and staff safety per radiation standards.
• Performs routine maintenance and inspection of X-ray equipment.
• Maintains accurate patient records and manages billing-related data in RIS/PACS.
