Advocate Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in the Peach - Radiology department. The role requires documentation of patient history, patient identification verification, contrast administration when needed, and coordination with radiologists.

Candidates must graduate from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program and be registry eligible with completion within 1 year of hire, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
