Job summary

TriStar Ashland City Medical Center invites Radiologic Technologists to join its Accelerated Rad Tech to CT Tech Development Program. The 10-week online certification is conducted through Houston City College and includes paid CT clinical hours at TriStar Centennial.

Upon completion, candidates may be offered full-time CT Technologist roles at TriStar Ashland City with a Fri–Sun, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. schedule; eligibility requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, an associate degree, and ongoing CT

Qualifications

• Be in a Radiologic Technologist role, or similar role, throughout the 10-week program. Participants already in a CT role are ineligible.
• Have ARRT or NMTCB certification.
• Complete 38.5 hours per week of CT clinical hours over a consecutive 10-week period at TriStar Centennial.
• Provide a college transcript showing an associate’s degree or greater and passing grades in English and Math courses.
• Upon completion, be available to work Full Time as a CT Technologist at TriStar Ashland City; schedule Fri, Sat, Sun (7a-7:30p) but may change.

Responsibilities

• Transition to a full-time CT Technologist at TriStar Ashland City after program; schedule may vary.
• Support CT clinical training during the 10-week program as required.

Accelerated Rad Tech to CT Tech Development Program

We are looking for Radiologic Technologists (Rad Techs) to take the next step in their career through HCA Healthcare’s Accelerated Rad Tech to CT Tech Program! This program is a 10-week intensive online certification program offered through Houston City College – Coleman College for Health Sciences (online). A significant benefit of this program is participants work, and are paid for, 38.5 hours per week while receiving the necessary Computed Technologist (CT Tech) clinical hours at TriStar Centennial. Then upon completion of the program, we would love to offer you a full time position as a CT Tech at TriStar Ashland City working Fri, Sat, Sun (7a-7:30p).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Be in a Radiologic Technologist role, or similar role, throughout the 10-week program. Participants already in a CT role are ineligible.
• Have a current America Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification.
• Complete 38.5 hours per week of CT clinical hours over a consecutive 10-week period at TriStar Centennial. Please note participants in a PRN status may participate but must be able to commit to 38.5 hours per week during the program.
• Provide a college transcript that shows an associate’s degree or greater. At a minimum, participants must be able to provide a college transcript showing completion and a passing grade for college level English and Math courses
• Upon completion of the program, be available to work Full Time as a CT Technologist at TriStar Ashland City. The schedule is Fri, Sat, Sun (7a-7:30p) but may be subject to change.
