Job summary

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support weekend day coverage in the Radiology department in Dallas, TX. The role involves imaging procedures, patient care, and equipment operation in a high-volume center.

The position requires ARRT certification within 6 months of hire, BCLS, and good communication skills. Prior surgery radiology experience is a plus; join a top-tier health system with strong patient care standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/X-Ray Technology required upon hire.
  • Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with patients and team; venipuncture experience helpful.
  • Imaging quality and processing of radiologic exams.
  • Patient care duties related to radiology procedures.
  • Equipment operation and maintenance as needed.

WORK HOURS

Part Time Weekend Days - Saturday and Sunday 7a - 7p

Here’s What You Need
  • Other – Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/X-Ray Technology upon hire required or
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-year radiologic technologist or x-ray technologist experience preferred.
  • Surgery Experience preferred.
  • GMRT – General Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiology within 6 months of hire required and
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  • Communication and computer experience helpful.
