Job summary

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a PRN shift to join a fast-paced, team-based radiology department. You will perform imaging procedures across CT, DR, IR, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound, contributing to high-quality patient care in a busy environment.

Requirements include CMRT/ARRT credentials, BCLS, and an Associate's degree (or equivalent radiologic technology education) with 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred.
  • CMRT certification required upon hire.
  • ARRT certification within 6 months required.
  • BCLS required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
  • Associate's degree preferred; other graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology upon hire required.

Responsibilities

  • Explain procedures to patient or guardian prior to exam and position patient to correct anatomical area.
  • Provide patient care using multidisciplinary, team oriented actions and assess patient conditions.
  • Operate, care for and maintain imaging equipment and adjust technical factors.
  • Maintain professional accountability and partnership and pursue ongoing technical skills and technology advancement.

Education
  • Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology upon hire required Or
  • Associate's Degree preferred
Experience
  • 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (Either by the TDH or TMB) upon hire required And
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 6 months required And
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
