Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registry eligible and ARRT registration within 90 days of employment.
• Current license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong data-entry and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
• Operates radiology equipment to complete imaging procedure according to protocol.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Supports departmental operations and equipment maintenance as needed.
