Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program is required.
• Active ARRT registration or registry-eligible status and eligibility within 90 days of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current, unrestricted license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Operates radiology equipment to complete imaging studies per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Performs quality control and ensures diagnostic-quality images.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, schedules, maintenance).
