The Staff Technologist provides patient services using imaging modalities and performs diagnostic procedures. Applies principles of radiation protection and the ALARA principle, exercises professional judgment in procedures, provides patient care essential to imaging, recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures. Establishes and maintains good rapport and professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and Medical Staff. Performs imaging services "on call" as needed.
This is a PRN as-needed position. You must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly, with additional hours as requested by your supervisor. Work hours may vary depending on departmental needs.
