Join to apply for the Radiologic Technologist (PRN) role at Oklahoma State University Medical Center.

**Job Description**
Under the direction of the Radiology Clinical Coordinator, this individual must be able to operate all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently. This person must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered, or be registry eligible, with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. ARRT certification, if not held at the time of hire, is required within one year from the date of hire.

The incumbent must be able to produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats. Must be able to handle multiple room assignments and all different types of exams daily. Must communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and hospital staff. Responsible for overseeing first-year x-ray students and assisting in evaluating their progress. Will participate in performance improvement initiatives and assist with daily department activities. This position requires 24-hour mandatory on-call duty, with a return time of 30 minutes to the hospital when called.

The individual must demonstrate knowledge of age-specific care, growth, and development principles, and be able to assess patient data to determine care requirements based on age-specific needs, as outlined in the department's competency plan.

**Qualifications**
Vocational/Technical Training preferred. Associate's Degree is preferred. Must obtain ARRT certification within 1 year of hire. BLS certification is required.
