Weston Hospital, part of Cleveland Clinic’s Florida region, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join their team of caregivers dedicated to patient-centered healthcare, technological advancement, and education. Radiology Technologists operate x-ray equipment to produce images interpreted by Radiologists. Responsibilities include patient preparation, positioning, equipment operation, and ensuring high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure. Specializations may include bone densitometry, cardiovascular-interventional radiography, CT, mammography, MRI, and nuclear medicine.

This role involves working varying shifts. An ideal candidate will:

  • Perform technical procedures using ionizing radiation, including routine and specialized exams
  • Operate and regulate imaging equipment
  • Review patient prep information, explain procedures, and obtain consent
  • Document clinical information and medical history
  • Provide a calming approach to patient care
  • Transport patients and communicate with nursing staff
  • Review physician orders and document post-procedure information

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Florida General Radiographer license (RAD)
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Two years of experience in an acute care imaging setting
