Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a PRN Interventional Radiologic (IR) Technologist to our Special Procedures Department at our Baptist Clay location, Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity requiring a minimum of 6 shifts per month, with various shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic images.
• Works as part of a team performing interventional procedures.
• Operates under sterile conditions similar to the OR.
• Maintains good rapport with co-workers and patients, exhibiting a positive, comforting demeanor.
• Complies with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Participates in on-call coverage.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, following all regulations and policies.

Qualifications

Education: Vocational School required; Associate's Degree preferred.

• Less than 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Experience in special interventional procedures and hospital settings.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with vascular imaging procedures.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• CPR certification required.
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (ARRT CI) or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular (ARRT CV) or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT); Radiologic Technologist license required.
