Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to perform X-ray exams on patients to produce diagnostic images. You will operate radiographic equipment with sound technique, obtain quality images and collaborate with radiologists to support patient care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology, ARRT certification within 6 months, SC licensure, BLS, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Zero to two years of modality specific work experience.
  • Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
  • Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
