Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Staff Radiologic Technologist for a PRN, hourly position in South Carolina. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging with strict ALARA adherence and high-quality patient care, under physician orders.
Responsibilities include patient positioning, image quality control, documentation, and readiness to respond to emergencies. ARRT certification or ARRT eligibility is required, along with SCRQSA licensure and BLS certification.
The Staff Radiologic Technologist provides high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services using various imaging modalities. This role performs diagnostic procedures in accordance with physician orders, applies radiation protection principles including ALARA standards, and exercises professional judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The technologist maintains strong working relationships with patients, medical staff, and colleagues while supporting departmental and hospital objectives.
