The role requires completing an AMA-approved Radiology Technology Program and ARRT registration (or eligibility within 1 year). BLS is required; prior direct patient care xperience preferred; strong communication with physicians and staff

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal AMA-approved Radiology Technology Program.
• ARRT registration required or eligible within 1 year of hire.
• 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition.
• Confirms patient identity by verbal confirmation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates and selects equipment with proper positioning.
• Maintains departmental records according to standards.
