Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations under the Radiologist's direction. You will coordinate daily activities, document histories, and ensure patient safety and accuracy in image capture.

The role requires ARRT-recognized radiologic training, registry eligibility within a year, and BLS certification. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.
• Knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population served.

Responsabilités

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition.
• Confirms patient identification verbally and via proofs of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patients for procedures.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
