The Radiology Technician (CRT) supports patient care by performing diagnostic x-rays as directed by physicians. The role requires proficiency with x-ray equipment, routine administrative, and clinical tasks to ensure efficient office operations.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, positioning patients and adjusting equipment for optimal views as ordered.
• Follow established technique charts, using independent judgment to support radiological orders.
• Ensure proper markers are set and maintain quality control logs.
• Review dosimeter reports monthly.
• Assist clinicians during examinations and minor surgeries.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, sterilize instruments, and perform other clinical duties.
• Escort patients, interview, measure vital signs, document information, and perform diagnostic tests as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; Vocational/Technical diploma preferred.
• 1 year experience as an X-Ray Technician in outpatient settings preferred.
• Imaging CA Radiologic Tech (CRT) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, valid for 60 days from start date.
• ARRT certification preferred.
