Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment to produce radiographic images as per physician orders and standard procedures.
• Instructs patients and positions them for imaging while adhering to ALARA and safety guidelines.
• Reviews images for accuracy and technical quality; repeats images as needed and submits for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains sterile technique and standard precautions; assists with procedures and patient education.
• Utilizes RIS, EMR, and PACS following established practice guidelines.
• Monitors equipment, reports malfunctions, and maintains inventory of supplies.
• Communicates clearly with patients and team; may assist at reception or scheduling.
