Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and ensure high-quality exams within established time frames. You will work with radiologists, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment with a strong emphasis on quality control.

The role requires ARRT and BLS/CPR certification, PACS experience, and the ability to lift and position patients as needed. Lakeview Hospital serves the Northshore with advanced imaging services and trauma care.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility
• ARRT certification is required
• BLS/CPR certification is required
• Experience with PACS and radiology information systems preferred
• Ability to operate x-ray equipment and maintain quality controls

Responsibilities

• Identify patient, body part, and side before every exam
• Provide safe, compassionate patient care and obtain consent
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and properly stock supplies
• Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Enter and verify data in PACS/RADIANT and document exam results
