Job summary

LCMC Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to provide expert imaging services in support of our mission to deliver high‑quality care to the New Orleans community and beyond.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, reviewing scans with radiologists, ensuring patient safety and identity verification, and maintaining clean, ready-to-use exam areas. CPR/BLS and ARRT licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Radiologic Technologist program.
• CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ARRT licensure via LSRTBE required.
• Day shifts; United States location.

Responsibilities

• Review scans with radiologists to identify anatomical detail and abnormalities.
• Confirm patient identity, body part, and side before procedures.
• Administer patient care to ensure safety and obtain consent.
• Address clinical or emergent issues that may affect exams and take action.
• Input and verify data in PACS/RADIANT; maintain clean work areas.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and assist in QC/PI programs.
