Mercyhealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for night shifts in Rockford, IL with a 24-hour per week schedule. The role involves performing X-ray, portable, C-arm, and fluoroscopic exams, while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT registration is required; IL or WI licensure as applicable, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and ability to supervise students.
This role performs different types of X-ray and imaging procedures, including portable, fluoroscopic, and C-arm exams, while safely positioning and caring for patients. They operate imaging equipment, review images for quality, follow radiation safety rules, document procedures, and assist radiologists with exams. They also educate patients and help train students and other staff.

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
One (1) to Three (3) years experience preferred
Will consider new graduates
ARRT Radiography registration required
IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days

Works independently with limited direct supervision.
Provides clinical supervision of allied health students and radiology aides.
