CareNow – Mt Pleasant, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Radiology Technologist and Medical Assistant to join our team. You will perform imaging per orders, take vitals, collect specimens, document in the EHR, and support patient check-in/check-out in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certification, MA program completion, and BLS. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and clinic operations, with opportunities for growth in a respected healthcare system.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certification required.
• GMRT license in state of residency if required by the state.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is required.
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within 30 days of start.
• Within 30 days of employment or promotion, must obtain and maintain state license (if required by the state) for Office Laboratory Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections.
• Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records and logs for in-house labs and outside lab work.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.

Seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) and skilled Medical Assistant (MA) like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. As a Radiology Tech/Medical Assistant, you will:

• Take vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKG’s, and administering IM injections.

You Should Have:
