Job summary

HCA Healthcare,CareNow - Spartanburg, seeks an experienced Radiology Technologist and Medical Assistant to join a patient‑centered team. You will perform imaging per orders, collect specimens, and support check-in/check-out while maintaining accurate EHR records.

The role requires ARRT certification, MA training, and BLS within 30 days of start. You’ll contribute to a collaborative, high‑quality care environment supporting families across the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Radiologic Services program with ARRT certification.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program (BOTP) required.
• State license and BLS within 30 days of start.
• AAMA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs and administer IM injections.
• Perform x-ray/imaging services per provider orders and update patient charts.
• Collect patient history and document in the EHR.
• Apply splints, dressings and bandages as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and audit charts.
• Maintain records for in-house labs and external lab work.
• Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
