Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician to support IV procedures and maintain the angiographic suite. You will prepare contrast, calculate fluids, and assemble supplies for each case, while communicating with patients about the procedure and addressing any concerns from them or their family.

Ideal candidates have AMA/HLC-accredited radiologic technology education and ARRT registration, with cardiovascular or interventional registry as a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or an HLC-accredited program.
• Must be ARRT registered and maintain active credentials.
• Additional cardiovascular/interventional registry is advantageous.

Job description

• As an Interventional Radiology Technician (IR Tech), you will support a variety of IV surgical procedures.
• Set up the angiographic suite for each IV procedure including preparing contrast and IV solutions, calculating fluids and contrast materials and assembling supplies.
• Communicate with the patient about the procedure and address any concerns from them or their family.

Requirements

• Completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or a school that is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
• Must be registered by the ARRT
• Additional registry in cardiovascular /interventional.

Demonstrates expertise in Interventional Radiology procedures, including patient communication and preparation of angiographic suites. Holds necessary certifications and training to ensure compliance and safety in IV surgical environments.
