Job summary

Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, CA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to scrub in with physicians during peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will prepare supply trays, pass guide wires and catheters, and operate table and fluoroscopic equipment as part of a tight-knit team.

The role requires ARRT certification and a California CRT license with fluoroscopy permit, plus 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist and 1 year scrubbing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Training Program or equivalent training.
• ARRT certification required; California CRT license with fluoroscopy permit; fluoroscopy permit must be obtained within 12 months of hire if graduated before 1 Jan 2011.

Job description

• Scrubs in with the physician and assists with procedures as a part of a team that performs peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures; including but not limited to preparing the supply tray, passing guide wires and catheters and operating the table and fluoroscopic equipment. The team works together to position the patient, prep and drape the patient for the procedure.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent training

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy permit; must obtain fluoroscopy permit within twelve (12) months of hire if graduated before January 1, 2011 from Diagnostic Radiology Technology program with CRT license; American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Additional certification required as outlined based on assigned department: AHA ACLS 7570 Cardiac Cath Lab 7571 Electro Physiology Lab

Experience:

• Required: Two (2) years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist and one (1) year of experience scrubbing, maintaining sterile fields, performing sterile tray set up and/or assisting physicians during procedures
